“Visual Media Development” is a term I have begun to use in order to define what I do. I have created this title because my position is not always driven by design, nor driven by technology alone; it is in fact a merger of the two. As a developer, my goal and role are to help clients move towards a more efficient and flexible use of media.
In the ever-increasing complexity of multi-media use in live events, miscommunication and improper utilization of technolog are common occurrences. It is my role to simplify this process and become the mediator between the creative and technical sides. My mission is to make the use of abstract and complex video elements as simplistic as possible. Making them turn-key and as simple to the client as pressing play on a DVD player.
